Addressed to the new archimandrite, according to a statement from the Ecumenical Patriarchate, His Holiness praised him for his zeal, the industriousness, the devotion and loyalty he showed "to the Abbot of Chalkis first and lastly to your Elder Saint Chalcedon and through them to the Church, to which we all owe obedience and discipline, so that everything is done successfully and in order". Expressing his satisfaction "because Fr. Eleftherios loved the Christians of the eastern shore of the Bosphorus and was loved by them", pointed out that the success of the clergy is to win the trust and respect of his Christians and to have love and mutual respect among them.

In his objection, as noted in the same announcement, the new Archimandrite Eleftherios expressed his gratitude to His Holiness for the special honor and blessing of his ordination today, but also for all his paternal love and affection, as well as for his constant interest and the opportunities he gave him to acquire more supplies and a wider theological education, data, which enable him to serve the Mother Church more effectively.

According to M. Vespers was attended by the Metropolitan of Imbro and Tenedos Kyrillos and the Bishop of Komanon Michael, exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Kyiv, clergy of the Patriarchal Court and the Archdiocese of Constantinople and a small number of believers, due to the existing health measures against the pandemic.
