The universe, animate and inanimate, continues, the order is constituted and held together, thanks to which, by reason of which and on the condition of which, it is called the world, jewel, ornament……

For the ancient Greeks, order, in the sense that in an organized set of physical phenomena, deities or human societies there are limits, rules and hierarchy, was the supreme law.

According to ancient Greek thought, in fact, the creative quality of the gods does not consist in their having created nature, but in that by their intervention it was changed from a disorderly confederacy into a world, in an orderly set.

Class, Well, means organization, it means hierarchy, it means and presupposes institutions and bodies of authority, which they will apply, they will regulate and supervise its observance, within a social group, which by definition consists of units and groups of different interests, trying to find their recommended…

The reason for the rulers, from behavior, the choices and practice of which the quality of a polity is tested and its outlook judged.

The tragic poet of the 5th century BC. century Agathon crystallized the ethics of exercising power with three timeless "musts", three things he ordained that a lord should remember, that "there are people, by law there is, and there you go"!

Every ruler must remember that he rules over people, not numbers! It rules people with particularities, sensitivities, fears, needs, visions, hopes, and not a listless and misdirected mass.

"A lord is good", emphasized Pittacus of Mytilene, “when he makes citizens fear not him, but for him"!

Must, in parallel, and to rule according to the laws. When Theofilos Kairis welcomed, on behalf of the reborn nation, the first Governor of modern Greece, he began his speech with the phrase of the Holy Bible "I will take it.", my son is fine, Our Lord is risen"!

The ages have taught that greatness does not belong to those who identify with the law, the State, the Nation, the People with themselves and their authority, but to that wonderful Leonidas, the "persuaded to death" of the homeland of Sparta...

A lord, every lord, secular or even religious, you shouldn't, also, never forget that his power is not eternal… Either biological death or an unpleasant election result, or an unexpected reversal will bring the end of any power he has.

For this, he must always be ready to answer to the criteria of the People and the Court of History...

Perhaps many great leaders have fallen before their time…Falling, Nevertheless, they showed how great they were… And it might be better to grieve because they fell, than why they didn't fall....

For Christianity, sure, and the Church such separations of rulers and ruled do not exist. Christ brought a new order to the world, gave a new meaning to the form, the content and exercise of power!

For Christianity, authority means ministry, constant offering and insincere self-offering of the lords to the lords, according to “whoever wants to be first among you, to become the servant of all".

Is not, Well, random, that the terms minister, in Greek, and minister in Latin languages means "servant".... Unknowingly, maybe, the peoples and political science are inspired by the word of Christ, considering him, what exactly is it: the only condition for coherence, the progress and true freedom of societies.

This is what we need so much today!

Lords and Politicians, who are servants of the general good and ministers of the Greek People, and not servants of petty party expediencies or personal pettiness!

For four years now, the boat of our country has been rocked by an unprecedented tension, type and duration of storm.

Those who have served in the Navy or Merchant Navy know that in such trying circumstances self-interest and guild interests are put aside and all the sailors and officers of the ship are in their place..

They know that in a stormy season, there is no use fighting among themselves or about who is better able to save the ship, nor who will get the best seat, nor remember that they do not like the captain, nor, and much more, to ask for a change of captain, while the waves grow wild and the skylarks linger!

That's why they work together, they all try together to save the ship, its passengers and goods, and with patience, joint effort and cooperation, they are waiting for the storm to pass and to catch port!
