Divine Liturgy – The Glorious Prophet Elias (Elijah) / "The fiery ascension of the Holy Glorious Prophet Helios of Thesvitos" was celebrated with special splendor in Marathi Mykonos.
On the main day of the feast, the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy with Artoklasia were held, minister of the High Priestly Commissioner of Mykonos & Delos, His Eminence Archpriest Fr. Petrou Marangou, in the old and proud Holy Chapel of the Prophet Elias of the Anousos Tolis Family, where he preached the divine word referring, among other things, to the earthly angel, the great prophet Elias the Thesvite.
In the crowded Mykonian faithful and vacationers, Magnificent Chapel of the Prophet Elias, of the Anousos Toli Family where it honors and venerates the Prophet Elias in particular and organizes a special festival every year with a rich religious, cultural and island identity.

Before the end of the Divine Liturgy, ο π. Peter spoke about the life of the Prophet Elias, thanked the family of Mrs. Annousos Tolis, owner of the old chapel, for her kind invitation and love and informed the faithful for the philanthropy and love fundraiser of the Holy Metropolis which is held during this period and he thanked the faithful in advance, for their always willing help.
