on Tuesday 23 December in our crowded Cross-Border Spiritual Center, a wonderful Theological-philological evening dedicated to the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the first part of the celebration, their "power point" work on the persons who played a role in the Birth of Christ was presented on a large screen, the events that followed, the circumcision, Hypapanti and Saint Simeon, the slaughter of infants, the flight to Egypt, the return to Nazareth as well as the manners and customs of our place for these days. This excellent work was done with the help of our partner Ms. Zacharoulas Argoudeli, philologist.

In the second part of the holiday, our younger students performed in Modern Greek, passages from the four Evangelists as they describe the events.

In the third and last part, our students watched a topical short film by Danish Hans Cristian Andersen "The Little Girl with the Matches". Our celebration ended with our children singing traditional and local carols accompanied by musical instruments.

Edesimol. Protopr. Petros Maragos thanked our students and their parents for their presence and the trust they show in the Church, conveyed the wishes and love of our Reverend Pastor Mr. Dorotheou B’ and referred to the activities to be carried out in the following days. The head of the Junior Catechetical School Aedesimol also gave his wishes to the students. Protopr. Emmanuel Galanakis.
Immediately after, hot tea and various fasting sweets were offered.
 
Everyone left expressing their enthusiasm for the catechetical work being carried out in Mykonos and expressed their filial love and respect for our Most Reverend Metropolitan and. Dorotheo II for his love and concern for youth.
