Mykonos Monasteries / The Cathechitopoulas of Ano Mera are preparing experientially for Great Lent
Today's Catechetic meeting at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Tourliani in Mykonos contained the pleasant surprise of the presence from Athens of the former Catechist Mrs. Dimitra Chalaris, who spoke to the children about the messages of the Parable of the Prodigal and distributed them picture books about Great Lent, which the children drew, thus actively participating in the spiritual preparation of this holy period for the Church and the faithful.
At the end, the children offered the Abbot Archimandrite Fr. Alexios Papadopoulos flowers, for the coming of Spring.
