Synaxis of The Three Hierarchs / Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, & John Chrysostom
Inside the Holy Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, full of children, the Feast of the Three Hierarchs was celebrated in Ano Mera Mykonos.
The children of Ano Mera Primary School and High School, honoring the memory of the protectors of Education of the Three Hierarchs, attended church this morning at the Catholic Church of the Holy Monastery of Tourliani and watched carefully the topical speech of the Theological Professor, who referred to the life and work of the Three Hierarchs.
The Abbot, Archimandrite p. Alexios Papadopoulos wished the Educational Community of Ano Mera for today's Feast of Letters and underlined that the spirit of practical charity and love for education, which characterized the Three Hierarchs, inspires the Holy Monastery, which contributes significantly to the establishment of Schools and sports grounds in Ano Mera, but also the extensive charity work of our local Church.

At a time when the feast of the Patrons of Education and the Greek Letters of the Three Hierarchs is erased from the Schools and the students ignore their always relevant messages, in the Holy Monastery of Tourliani the Abbot- Catechist AArchimandrite p. Alexios Papadopoulos, spoke to the children of the Catechetical Groups of Ano Mera about them "Three Greatest Luminaries", for their life and their great and timeless contribution to Education and society.
