The solemn memory of Saint Euthymios was magnificently honored by the chapel of the same name in Chora Mykonos.
“Blessings from the bottom of my heart, how do I behave the wretched dedoika, and praise the great Euthymion; but of this they dare to bind them, in joy and much study, I will operate on the ear, and I always forget his state, and the birth, and how his parents sang it, Alleluia”.
With the co-praying presence of Mykonian believers, it was performed today, Friday 20 January 2023, the Mass of Orthros and then the solemn Divine Liturgy on the holy memory of the Feast of Saint Euthymius the Great in the Holy Chapel of the same name, his minister, High Priest Commissioner of Delos & Mykonos, of February. Petrou Marangou, supported by Fr. George Kousathanas.

In his sermon, His Holiness Fr. Peter referred to the personality of Saint Euthymius, whose life is worthy of imitation especially among the Monks. He was called the Great by our Church both for his ascetic experience and for his anti-heretical struggle.
Ending the Reverend Fr. Peter wished the celebrants.

To Angelos take away the strangers of life
End of life Euthymios eikadi hygeneios “
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, a treat followed, in the surrounding square by the patrons of the Chapel.
