The people of Mykonos celebrated the memory of Agios Fanourios in the sanctuary of Agios Georgios, located at the iconic crossroads of Mykonos Town, in "Three Wells".

In the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Syros and Mykonos. Dorotheus whose hymns he sang, as yesterday at Vespers, The choir “antiphon Member”, under the direction of Mr.. Georgiou Kamariaris and the Psalter Antonis Xydakis, with the participation of the Pastor and Hierarchical Commissioner of Ano Mera, Protopr. Vassilios Tzanidakis and the careful presence, inside and outside the Temple, of many Mykonos and vacationers.

Speeches to the congregation, His Eminence Mr.. Dorotheos II, take occasion from the finding of the holy Icon of Agios Fanourios in Rhodes, by which the Saint became known to all, stressed that God always finds ways to direct our lives where, as and when needed, just as in the case of Agios Fanourios.
“For this, Well,” recommended to the faithful, “we must trust the will and plan of the Lord, Who will find ways to answer our requests, always in the interest of our souls”.
