Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will celebrate the 60th anniversary of his ordination to the ministry in Imbro, which was held on 13 August 1961, to I.. Metropolitan Church of Panagia.
His Holiness, which is expected to arrive in Imbro on Friday, 6 August, Early in the afternoon, will participate in the festive events organized by the Diocese of Imbros and Tenedos to honor the 60 years since Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew entered the priesthood.

Yet, will inaugurate a painting exhibition in Agioi Theodorou and two photography exhibitions, the first by Stylianos Charalambidis, entitled "Wildflowers of the Athos and Imbros Peninsula", in Agridia, and the second by Cevahir Buğu and Vassos Xeinou, entitled "The Imbros of the Patriarch", in Schinoudi.
