The Celebration of the Dormition of the Virgin in the Great Panagia-Litanization of the Holy Icons (pcs-video)

With religious reverence, thanks to the participation of devout Mykonians and vacationers, the Mother of God feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was celebrated again this year at the Metropolitan Church of Megali Panagia.

The solemn Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Archpriest of the Church Protopresbyter Fr. Petros Maragos and Deacon George, presence of a crowd of people, officials as well as representatives of the local authorities of the island who, after the Liturgy, followed the procession of the icons through the central alleys and the beach of the country.

After the dismissal, the limousine union offered the faithful a holiday treat.
