The manufacture 7 June, with the wish and blessing of our Reverend Pastor Mr. Dorotheou B, fifty students of the Lower Catechetical Schools of Chora and Upper Mykonos, accompanied by their Catechists, Protopr. Petro Marago, Protopr. Emmanuel Galanaki, Hierodeacon Georgios Kousathanas, and Mr. Dimitrios Asimomytis, they visited the island of Andros……..
The first stop and pilgrimage of our students was to the Holy and perennial Monastery of Agios Nikolaos, where the Professor of the Monastery Archim. Dorotheos Themelis welcomed our students and their companions with words of love and spoke about the Holy Monastery.
Immediately after the traditional monastic treat, we visited the Holy Monastery of Agia Marina, where the students were guided to the Monastery by Fr. Cherubim.
In Chora tis Andros we visited the Holy Church of Panagia tis Theoskepastos and the vicar of the Church p. Michael Kalaboukis gave us a tour of the Temple.
Our last stop after Chora was the beautiful Batsi, where the vicar of Agios Apostolos Philippos welcomed us with love, Protopr. Nikolaos Zacharodis and Archim. Antonios Dancer, vicar of Agios Nikolaos Korthios.
In Batsi, our students received the souvenirs for their participation in the ended Catechetic year, by father Petros Maragos, who in his short address, thanked the children for their presence, conveyed the wishes and blessing of our Reverend Father Mr. Dorotheou B.
He thanked his Partners in the Catechetical Ministry of Mykonos, τον π. Emmanuel, Deacon George and Mr. Δημ. Silverbill, and urged parents to send their children to the Catechism School. He wished everyone a good summer and good luck with the children in October.
The festive end of the Middle and Upper Catechetical School classes will take place next week in Kefalonia.
