Dear spiritual children,
The so called "Jehovah's Witnesses", which are for our Orthodox Church overview of all sects -after, among the others, they deny they do not believe in Christ as God, deny the Holy Trinity, the bodily Resurrection of the Lord, the universal resurrection of the dead and the final Judgment, despise the Holy Cross, the Mysteries of the Church, the honor to the Virgin and the Saints- they call on our fellow citizens, with…… their relevant announcement, to celebrate "the anniversary of the death of Jesus" at the Spiritual Center of the Municipality of Ermoupolis, and in fact during the second week of Lent.
In the context of our pastoral care and our desire to protect you from any misinterpretation of the Holy Scriptures and the sacred Tradition of our Church, we call on you to remain faithful to the faith of our Fathers, avoiding attending this heretical event.
Is, after all, It is known that our salvation is not achieved by "remembering the death of Christ", but with our participation in His Resurrection, through the Mystery of Salvation, of the Eucharist, according to the indisputable confirmation of the God-man Jesus Christ “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood is united with me, and I with him; he who eats me will live because of me " (John. 6, 56-57).
As your spiritual father, we draw your attention, so as not to be seduced by such disorienting invitations of this religious-economic organization, which eventually changed its name to "Christian Witnesses of Jehovah", with the aim of misleading Christians.
