The Reading is from the Gospel According to Mark 8:34-38; 9:1
In the gospel passage of the day our Lord calls us to take up our own cross and follow him. Στην δε επακολουθήσασα Κατηχητική συνάντηση, τα παιδιά της Άνω Μεράς καθοδηγήθηκαν από την Διδασκάλισσα του Δημοτικού Σχολείου κα Ευτυχία Πλούσκα να κατασκευάζουν μικρούς σταυρούς.
Το Εσπέρας ο Ηγούμενος τέλεσε τους Χαιρετισμούς στο Τίμιο Σταυρό με τη συμμετοχή πολλών Μυκονίων.
