Artemius the Great Martyr / In the Holy Church of Agios Artemios, in the Town of Mykonos the Honorable Mr. Dorotheos II, surrounded by the Priests of the Metropolitan Church and its Deacons celebrated the Divine Liturgy, with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Sports and Member of Parliament of Cyclades Mr. Io. Verona, Regional and Municipal Councillors, of the Prefect of Mykonos, the Commander of the 6th MSEP, of the Harbor Master of Mykonos, of the Commander of the Mykonos Police Department, of the Commander of the Fire Services of Mykonos Airport,, of the Commander of the Mykonos National Guard Battalion, members of the Brotherhood of Anomeritas, of the "MANTO" Cultural Association, Scouts, delegation of students from all the Schools of Mykonos, with their flags and an impressive crowd of Mykonians, in and around the Holy Temple.
In his speech, His Eminence Mr.. Dorotheos II underlined the persistence of Saint Artemios in the will of God and urged the students present to show the same persistence in the efforts they undertake, both at school, as well as in their later life and not retreat into the difficulties of everyday life.
