The crowded choir of the Holy Metropolitan Church of Megali Panagia, under the direction and guidance of the Deputy Regional Governor for Culture, Mr. Stelios Brigos, it imparted a special immersive atmosphere and drew the praises of the faithful.
During the sequence they are chanted in three stanzas (parts) the so-called Praises, little tropes very dear to the people, unknown poet. These praises are sung on Good Friday night, but they belong to the article of Great Saturday. The most well-known are "Life in the grave", "All generations" and "My sweet heart".
