The Gospel of Sunday (Second Sunday of Lent) – According to Mark B’ 1-12
And he entered again into Capernaum for a few days, and it was heard that he was in the house. And of course many were gathered, so that none of them could fit at the door; and he spoke the word to them. And they come to him bearing a paralytic, minus four. And not being able to approach him through the crowd, they removed the roof where it was, and digging loose the tie where the paralytic was lying. But when Jesus saw their faith, he spoke to the paralytic., your sins are forgiven. And there were some of the scribes sitting there meditating in their hearts. Why does this man thus speak blasphemy? What sins can he commit if not God? And directly Jesus said to them in his spirit, for thus they are meditating within themselves, what are you meditating on? in your hearts? What is better?, say to the paralytic, your sins are forgiven, or say, bow down and take off your tie and walk? but that you may know that the Son of Man has authority over sin on earth – He says to the paralytic: I tell you, bow and tie your tie and go to your house. And he arose directly, And take off the tie and go out against everything, so that they all stood up and glorified God, saying that we had never seen anything like this.
