Crowds of Mykonians and passing vacationers flooded the Catholic Church and the courtyards of the ancient Holy and historic Monastery of Panagia Tourliani tonight, Ano Mera Mykonos, where the Great Vespers of the Assumption of the Virgin was celebrated,superior of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Thera, Amorgos and Islands etc. Amfilohiou, concelebrating with this Reverend Mr. Dorotheou B, assisted by the Abbot Arch. Alexios Papadopoulos, the Priests of Mykonos and the Panosiols. Archimandrites Nikolaos Kladis, Head of the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos Kallithea and Benedict Fragogiannis, Head of the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos of Ermoupolis, of Protopr. Panagiotis Manidakis from Andros, with the presence of Cycladic MP Katerina Monogyou, of the Mayor of Mykonos Konstantinos Koukas, Municipal Councillors, of the President of the Community of Ano Mera and the President of the Fraternity of Anomerites of Mykonos.
Before the end of Vespers, His Eminence Mr.. Dorotheos II, according to the ancient tradition of the Holy Monastery, he sang, companions of the faithful, on the pre-authorized Epitaph, the Praises of the Virgin.
