Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the 4th Ecumenical Council
With due splendor the memory of the Holy God-giving Fathers of those assembled in Chalcedon was honored, the Fourth Ecumenical Council, at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, on Sunday 17 July 2022.
He celebrated the Orthro and then the Divine Liturgy ,The Archimandrite and head of the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos Kalithea Athens, Pi. Nikolaos Kladis, flanked by the Monastic Professor of Panology, Archimandrite Alexios Papadopoulos and the prayerful presence of Mykonian believers and pious vacationers.

In the Church calendar, three Sundays a year are dedicated to the honor of the holy Fathers, that is, of the Bishops who formed the seven Ecumenical Synods, who with their theology, their experiential experience and the sanctity of their lives managed to defeat the various sects, to guard the Orthodox faith and to formulate the doctrines and sacred rules of the Church.
About the middle of July, designated by the church to honor the memory of the fathers of the 4th Ecumenical Synod in Chalcedon, which was convened in Chalcedon on 451 A.D., by decision of the Emperors Marciano and Pulcheria, under the presidency of the Patriarch of Constantinople Anatolia and the representatives of Pope Leo.
