With great respect and special joy, the North Aegean Region and the Regional Governor Konstantinos Moutzouris honored the Archbishop of America Mr. Elpidoforos, on Tuesday 7 September 2021 on the occasion of his arrival in his particular homeland Chios , quoting a meal in his honor at an event at the "House of Mary"- "Maria Tsakos Public Benefit Foundation" in Kardamyla, Chios.
The Regional Governor Konstantinos Moutzouris in his speech mentioned characteristics: "It is a great honor and joy for us the arrival of His Eminence the Archbishop of America.. Hopeful. We are proud of his great love for his compatriots in the remote islands of the North Aegean and for his interest and support in the issues that concern the Orthodox flock of the islands.. We pay due respect and brilliance as we should, to this prominent figure of Orthodoxy ".
During the meal, Polychronism was performed in His Respect, by the Protopsalter of the Holy Pilgrimage of the Greatest Brigadiers Mantamados of Lesvos, K. Michael Anthimos Dissos, and Dr. also spoke. Nikos Tsakos as well as the US State Senator and President of PADEE..
