Biography of the Saint
The popular Saint George the great martyr and Trophy Bearer was born around 275 A.D. in Cappadocia, by Christian parents. My father, in fact, died a martyr for Christ when George was ten years old. His mother then took him with her to her homeland Palestine, where she also had her estates. When it was done 18 years, enlisted in the Roman army. Although young in age, he performed his military duties perfectly. Everyone admired him for his stature. That’ this, they quickly promoted him to higher positions and gave him the title of earl and Diocletian highly valued him.
