The purpose of the new Constitution is, as noted in the announcement of the Summit, to meet the vision and the expectation of the Clergy and the people, in view of the completion of the coming year of their anniversary 100 years since the founding of the Archdiocese of America.
A broad committee will be set up to draft the new Constitution, in which all the organizations and bodies of the Church and the Greek Diaspora will be represented, as well as four representatives from each Diocese who will be appointed by the relevant pastor.
