Aircraft C 130 of the Greek Air Force is heading to Tirana, according ………exclusive information of APE-MPE, in order to transfer the Archbishop of Albania, Mr.. Anastasios who was diagnosed with Covid 19.
Mr.. Anastasios underwent relevant tests at a medical center in Tirana which showed that he was infected with a coronavirus.
Although the symptoms appear in a mild form, doctors in Tirana deemed necessary his transfer and hospitalization in a specialized clinic in Greece, given his advanced age but also some chronic health problems.
The Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis was informed about the issue and gave his consent for the transition of the equipped with special unit C 130 in Tirana in order to transfer the hierarch.
