The Archbishop pointed out that the Prime Minister, as always, The Church stands by the Greek State and will assist with all the forces and means in all matters relating to the Greek people.
Circular on Metropolises
At the request of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, The Holy Synod, with Circular Note which has already been sent to the Holy Dioceses of the Church of Greece, He highlighted the contribution of the Church in an effort to prevent disease, which causes the new coronavirus, asking the following:
1) To intensify all our prayers to the winner of the decay and death of the Lord Jesus Christ, to preserve healthy and intact His inheritance.
2) The scientists, both of our Homeland and the World Health Organization assert that there is no reason to panic and that the vast majority of those who become ill, will only show symptoms, which resemble the flu. Hence, just follow the official updates, and what our scientists recommend.
3) As to prevent the virus, we: a) To wash our hands regularly. b) To use antiseptic alcohol. c) If we have a cough or fever to communicate by phone with our doctor and not proceed to surgery or hospital immediately. d) To keep away from anyone who has symptoms. e) To clean surfaces and to thoroughly ventilate homes, workplaces and churches. f) Those who exhibit symptoms of illness, Temporarily avoid the public places of assembly and the kisses and embraces, in order to protect the health of Christ's brothers.
4) Particular attention is needed for our fellow citizens who belong to vulnerable groups-health, People with respiratory problems or diabetes or cardiovascular disease, who must show much greater care not to become ill. It is advisable to avoid leaving their home if it is not absolutely necessary, to be even more careful in meticulous hygiene and cleanliness and, if there are people who care for patients, they wear mask.

End, The Holy Synod of the Church of Greece notes that all of us should not forget that every difficulty, even disease, can be an opportunity cohesion and bring to the surface the positive side of human relationships, which may be expressed by courage, peace and solidarity. All Orthodox Christians are called to surrender to God's will, knowing that theoprepis and dignified treatment of the disease, share recommends human martyrdom of conscience and fragrant sacrifice to God, while the substantial assistance and cooperation on non-proliferation of disease, leads us to the realization of ministerial Love.
