Priest of the Temple of the Elder p. Petros Marangos and associates of Fr.. Georgios Kousathanas and Deacon Georgios.
The celebration began with the procession of Orthros, «Δεῦτε Ἴδωμεν πιστοί, ποῦ ἐγεννήθη ὁ Χριστός », and the Gospel passage of the Nativity was read
«Μή φοβεῖσθε • ἰδοὺ γὰρ εὐγγελίζομαι ὑμῖν χαρὰν μεγάλην, ἥτις ἔσται παντὶ τῷ λαῷ ἐτι ἐτέχθη ὑμῖν σήμερον σωτήρ, ὅς ἐστι Χριστὸς Κύριος, ἐν πόλει Δαυΐδ» (Luke. 2,10-11).
«⁇ Λόγος σάρξ ἐγένετο καί ἐσκήνωσεν ἐν ἡμῖν, καί ἐθεασάμεθα τήν δόξαν αὐτοῦ, δόξαν μονος μονογενοῦς παρά πατρός, full of grace and truth» (.Ω. 1, 14).
⁇ Νοητὸς⁇ λιος τῆς δικαιοσύνης ποὺ σαρκίστηκε ἑκουσίως, λαμβάνει τὸν ἀνθρώπινο πόνο καὶ τὸν μεταποιεῖ σὲ διαρκῆ ἐσωτερικὴ πνευματικὴ χαρά, κάνοντας τὴν ἀνθρώπινη ψυχὴ νὰ λάμπει.
"The universes of joy today are being fulfilled. Christ was taken from the Virgin ". "It simply came to our notice then, honor and worship for centuries ".
