World-renowned monuments such as the Sydney Opera House, the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, the Empire State in New York, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Hadrian's Gate in Athens and other iconic buildings, they will be illuminated in UN blue.
The participation of Greece in the campaign is also great, with many buildings lit up at 24 October. Among them the CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF AGIOS NIKOLAOS HERMOUPOLEOS, which will be illuminated on the evening of October 24 2015, following the initiative of the HOLY METROPOLITAN OF SYRUS in collaboration with the Office for Greece of the UN Information Center.

The global celebration will begin in New Zealand and then move to Australia with the lighting of the Sydney Opera House. Subsequently, the UN Blue wave will cross countries and continents, as monuments around the world will be illuminated in sequence, participating in the international celebration.
