The art of fasting

Fasting is a path that leads us absolutely and completely to the path of love and of course to absolute freedom………

Yes, fasting is an art. Every art has its rules and through these rules each artist creates a unique path through the inspiration of his soul.
But we treat fasting as an institution. As a result, we do it only superficially and not at all substantially.

So it has come as a form of imposition on us and has no art form.
Every art has a form and flavor of the Divine in itself. We, in order to encounter the taste of the Divine in the art of fasting, must start the work from the beginning.

What is fasting?, if we ask each one, will say that it is a form of deprivation, a form of "punishment" we do to God.

For some reason I haven't figured it out yet for the life of me, we have designated God as the ruler, as a terrorist etc. While He is the greatest Hug and acceptance there is.
So when a person fasts he does it out of fear, from fashion, because his parents told him to, because the establishment defines it, because that's the right thing to do ? However, there is no way for him to fast because it is the path of his soul.

Not at the same time, when one is fasting, he has the need to drum it up left and right. The way he says it is like the poor guy in the story feels, he will say it bluntly to show that he is a proper Christian while the others are not.

But art is an inner process of the soul and of our unity with God. Art may have some rules but its main basis is I listen and feel.
If your fasting does not have such a character, then look to see what you do ? You are not fasting with substance and the possibility of creating a bridge with the Heavenly Fatherland is zero.

The art of fasting gives way to the art of prayer. However, nothing that leads us to union with God is superficial. Everything that connects us to him has depth and substance. But we are looking for God on the surface.

But as the song says, in the basements is the view. God is within us there deep within us and has nothing to do with the surface.
So fasting in itself is a branch of prayer, as Gurdjieff also says.

When the body is adjusted to silence then a correct prayer is performed. This quiet does not come overnight. Silently does not mean forcing our body not to make noise. What do we mean by noise? ? By noise we mean through all the desires of the flesh. The desires of the flesh deregulate the chakras – flesh.

So when we force our body to not eat and go into deprivation, this path will bring resistance and objections. Then the body will make more noise than ever. The mind will not be able to follow the mood for prayer.

So the fasting from art that it is supposed to be turns into a dynamite.
To get to walk the path of art - fasting requires a self-cognitive path to free our body and mind from everything toxic.

Any form of enforcement, through fear it does not give the sense of completeness and harmony, but a permanent noise- hum and so will the prayer. We will make noise either with our fasting, either by our prayer. Instead of the Divine rapture our ego will roar and not be bound to its harmonious melody.

This is why many people think they are fasting but all they are doing is turning their bodies into a busy road full of toxicity and noise..
 

So that we can move into the absolute harmonious path of fasting and prayer as a melodic coexistence with this art, first we will walk the paths of freedom called self-knowledge.

Then the fast turns into a magical sunset, in a melody of psalms from the soul that wants to meet its Bridegroom. The soul then knows exactly this art of prayer and fasting.

Then the way of Heaven is wide open and then we make no noise but Prayer and fasting. Prayer and fasting are two identical paths that push us to Apotheosis !!!
