Solemn vespers of Agios Vasilios in Mykonos

During our short sermon we referred to the Solemnity of the Circumcision of our Lord, which states that our Christ was a perfect God as well as a perfect man. As well as in the life of the Great Hierarch and Cappadocian Father.

After dismissal, we took light from the sleeping candle of the Saint and shone it on the lanterns that the faithful had brought to accompany the icon of the Saint in the Holy Metropolitan Church of the Great Virgin, where the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated tomorrow morning.
