Τι χρειάζεται για την τέλεση του Μυστηρίου:
Πρώτα να συνεννοηθείτε με τον Ιερέα της ενορίας σας.
Την ημέρα εκείνη πρέπει, σε ένα τραπέζι του σπιτιού, να υπάρχουν:
• Μια εικόνα του Χριστού ή της Παναγίας
• Ένα πιάτο με αλεύρι (με το οποίο αργότερα θα κάνουμε πρόσφορο) ή ένα
πρόσφορο που θα δώσουμε στην Εκκλησία για να προσκομιστεί
• Θυμιατό στο οποίο θα καίει λιβάνι
• Επτά κεριά πάνω στο πρόσφορο ή στο αλεύρι τα οποία ανάβει ένα–ένα ο ιερέας σε κάθε ευαγγελική περικοπή
• Ένα αναμμένο καντήλι ή ποτήρι με λάδι και αναμμένο φυτίλι
