The memory of the Holy Great Martyr Artemios, patron and patron of Mykonos, celebrated again this year with due splendor, it rained in Mykonos at the Holy Church of the same name, where a fragment of his holy relics is enshrined.
During the Mass of Orthros and after the solemn High Priestly Divine Liturgy, the Reverend Mr.. Dorotheos II, accompanied by the Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, Archimandrite p. Alexios Papadopoulos, the Vicar of the Temple and High Priest Commissioner of Mykonos and Delos, His Eminence Petros Maragos, the Co-Vicar of Protopresbyter Georgios Kousathanas, Archimandrite Athanasios from the Holy Diocese of Ierissos and his Deacon with the presence of Pupil Delegations from all the Educational Schools of all levels in Mykonos, with the Educators and their flags and an impressive crowd of Mykonians, in and around the Holy Temple.
Deputy Minister of Sports Giannis Vroutsis was present to pray, Cyclades MPs Katerina Monogyiou and Filippos Fortomas, of the Mayor of Mykonos Christos Veronis, the President of the Regional Council N. Aegean Spyros Apostolou, the president of the Municipal Council Stavros Grymblas, the Deputy Mayors Marousoula Haniotis, Petros Stavrakopoulos, Dimitris Koutsoukos, Municipal Councilors Dimitris Lazaridis and Manolis Kousathanas, the president of the community of Mykonos Panagiotis Xenarios, the Regional Police Commander N. Aegean, the Commander of the Mykonos Police Department, Officers, Non-commissioned officers and cadets of the Hellenic Police, the Commander of the 6th MSEP, the Harbor Master of Mykonos, the Commander of the Fire Services of Mykonos Airport and the Commander of the Mykonos National Guard Battalion.

In his meaningful speech to the pious Mykonians, our respected Pastor Mr. Dorotheos II referred to the life and martyrdom of Saint Artemios and recalled his benefits to the Mykonians, whom many times in the past he rescued from danger.
