His Eminence the Metropolitan of Syros and Mykonos Ms. Dorotheos B’ announces to the pious and liberal people of Mykonos and the first bearers of the island, that his only Holy Memory Saint Great Martyr Artemios , Patron and Patron Saint of Mykonos, will be celebrated in the Holy Church of the same name, during the following program:

07.30 a.m.: Beginning of Orthros
08.00 a.m.: Hierarchical Chorostasia
08.45a.m.: Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, priest of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Syros and Mykonos Ms. Dorotheou B. At the end of which, according to tradition, the procession of the Holy Icon and the Holy Relics of Saint Artemios through the city and the beach will follow (Gialos) Mykonos, with the participation of the first plaintiffs, of the flag bearers and performers of all the Schools.

In Functional and Spiritual Manifestations, which will take place in Mykonos, on the festive memory of Saint Artemios the Great Martyr, Patron and Patron Saint of Mykonos, will be accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra of P.I.I. Evangelistrias Tinos and they will attend in honor of the Saint, the deputy minister of education, Religion and Sports, Yannis Vroutsis and the Mayor of Mykonos, K. Christos Veronis and the Municipal Council about him.

All pious Christians are invited to attend and participate in the services that will be performed, honoring the memory of Saint Artemios and receiving the blessing from the Saint Great Martyr.

A master of ceremonies is appointed the High Priestly commissioner of Mykonos – Delos and archpriest of the Metropolitan Church of Megali Panagia, Most Reverend Elder Fr.. Petros Maragos.
