Mykonos Monasteries / His Eminence the Metropolitan of Syros and Mykonos Ms. Dorotheos II informs the pious – fellow Mykonians and onlookers on the island, that the eternal memory of Saint Mamados will be celebrated in the Cemetery Chapel bearing his name, in the Holy Monastery of Paleokastro, Ano Meras Mykonos, at 01 and 02 September 2022, according to the established order of our church according to the following schedule:
- Sunday 01 September 2024
Time 8 pm: Festive Vespers with Artiklasia, after which the consecration will take place in the chapel of Agios Mamandos.
- Monday 02 September 2024
07.30 a.m: Orthros and High Priestly Divine Liturgy in the monastery's catholicon, priest of our Reverend Pastor Dorotheos II, who will celebrate the Memorial Mass of the Blessed Nuns, which were practiced in the Holy Monastery of Paleokastro.
The loyal faithful are invited to come to these Holy Masses and seek the help and protection of Saint Mamatos of Asia Minor.
