His Eminence Dorotheos B’ / Thursday was held in an emotional atmosphere, 30 May 2024, the nine-day Holy Memorial for the repose of the soul of the blessed Episcopal Mother Catherine, mother of the Venerable Dorotheos II, nine days after she fell asleep, in the Holy Cemetery Church of Zoodochos Pigi, in "Musena" of Upper Mykonos.
The commemoration was preceded by Orthros and the Divine Liturgy, of which the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Syros and Mykonos excelled. Dorotheos II with his fellow ministers, His Eminence Fr. Alexios Papadopoulos, the archpriest Nikolaos, the archpriest Georgios Kousathanas and the hierodeacon Filaretos, with the praying presence of relatives, friends and Mykonian faithful.
After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy and the Holy Memorial, His Holiness with the Clergy went to the adjacent tomb, where the Blessed Episcopate and the Hierarchical Commissioner of Tinos are resting, Archpriest George Faneros officiated at the tomb of Necrosimon Trisaion.
