A multitude of devout Mykonians and vacationers attended the High Priestly Divine Liturgy held at the Metropolitan Church of Megali Panagia on the holy memory of Crete during its origin, Saint Neomartyr Manuel, of Mykonos.
High Priestly Divine Liturgy was held today, Sunday 24 September 2023, in the Holy Metropolitan Church of the Great Panagia of Mykonos,priest of the Reverend Mr. Dorotheou B, with the participation of city vicars, on the holy memory of Saint Neomartyr Manuel of Crete, who lived for decades in Mykonos and, you have left it for professional activities, martyred in Chios, before 231 years,the 1792 .

The Eminence. Dorotheos B’ in his sermon, occasion of handles from today's Gospel passage, emphasized that everyone, parents, clergy and teachers, we must by our word and example become fishers of children's souls, that we will lead them closer to Christ.
He also mentioned the today honored New Martyr Saint Manuel of Crete, who preferred the baptism of martyrdom, rather than deny his faith, which he had hidden deep in his soul.
He thanked the faithful for their presence and invited them to pass on the ancestral traditions to their children and wished them for the early autumn.

Subsequently, His Eminence Mr.. Dorotheos B’ headed the pandemonium litany of the holy icon of Saint Neomartyr Manuel, which was framed by Students of the Schools of Mykonos with their flags, Members of the Cultural Association “I guess”, with traditional costumes and Cretans, who live in Mykonos and every year especially honor their compatriot Agios Manuel.
The Events, they were chosen during the return of the Litany to the Temple with the National Anthem.
