With the blessing and grace of the All-Merciful God and with a large participation of believers, the great Despotic feast of the Universal Exaltation of the Holy and Life-giving Cross was celebrated again this year, in the celebrating and celebrating Holy Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross of “Master”, in the Drafaki area of Mykonos.

Before the dismissal, the ceremony of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was performed, according to the standard of the day.

The faithful flooded the Holy Chapel in order to worship the Holy Cross and draw heavenly power and grace from it.
After the Ascension ceremony, an emotional moment for everyone, the Faithful took with them Holy Water and sprigs of basil as a blessing and to deposit them on the icons as an elixir against evil.
After dismissal, a holiday treat was offered with local traditional sweets, p’ the entire congregation from the family of Spyros and Flora Xydakis.
