Elsewhere in his speech, His Holiness pointed out that "from the Great Fathers we learn how demanding the work of education is, of the door and the Christian, for the teacher and the student. This is especially relevant today, when diffuse pedagogical humanism considers educational intervention, guidance and discipline, as a abolition of freedom and an obstacle to the happiness of children. The words self-realization predominate, autonomy, self, personal rights, success, meeting needs and the like, while they lack responsibility, the tender, the duty, the common good, solidarity. Valuable traditions and humanitarian conquests are shaken ".

In his speech, the Patriarch also stressed:
