The wave of rapid changes, which the technological developments and the IT revolution brought, seduced and overturned o,what until yesterday we considered stable and at the same time shook timeless institutions, who constitute the fundamental system of society and guarantee the survival of the human race, like the family……
The prevailing general confusion and subversion of traditional roles and social structures, where until now they were considered to be in the inviolable zone, it creates negative feelings of bitterness in people, denial and indifference, of questioning, insecurity and suspicion.
The institution of Marriage was shaken, the family hearth grows cold and incredibly easily dissolves with tragic victims of the children, whose personality is crushed, corrodes and hardens prematurely.
The lack, the difficulty is, communication between children and parents, as they, afflicted and overwhelmed by the hot daily problems, they do not have the time and strength to approach their children, it causes a painful feeling of loneliness on both sides.
The young people, impregnated by the negative experiences of the family, in which they grew up, immature and inexperienced, without patience, understanding, love and tolerance - one did not offer them such experiences - psychologically and morally weak to bear the great responsibility of living together and raising children, they get nervous, angry, awkward. They find that happiness in marriage is an elusive dream, and…. they also get a divorce.
Exactly, this steep increase in divorce shows how faith in the family has weakened and how most marriages today are not based on trust, appreciation and love.
Sta ὀdyniraἀ, Nevertheless, problems and difficulties of modern reality, with the nightmarish galloping unemployment and economic hardship, the reintegration and support of the institution of the family is presented as imperative, vital need and condition for overcoming individual and collective impasses, theme, which also occupied the Hierarchy of the Church of Greece,during its recent regular meeting.
Why, we can hope for a better tomorrow, in a livable future for the next generations, we can envision a better society, only if the change starts within the family.
Since we cannot change today, healing his wounds, let's make tomorrow, creating healthy people, from healthy families, where they are governed by love and mutual respect.
The family may have lost many of its traditional functions, its structure may change radically, her mission, Nevertheless, becomes more important, for this very reason:to plant deeply in the souls of young people what humanity, burdened by frivolity and selfishness, needs today, the love, after first changing itself into a society of love.
But, love is synonymous with sacrifice. This means that it is achieved through practice, it takes a lot of toil and struggle for man to pass from the land of survival to the land of true life.
Why, love is the voluntary relinquishment of self for the sake of you, to be the first to bet on the hope of change and transformation.
